Welcome to my Blog. My intention to detox the world one person at a time started about 8 years ago. Looking back now I know I made the right decision. I had lived with many symptoms for many years, symptoms I accepted as part of my life and although I had BIG dreams and the drive and motivation to get there, I did not have my health or the energy to pursue my dreams.
I was eating healthy and exercising on a regular basis, I considered myself healthy but what boggled me was the massive energy slump I would experience during the day. This would continue for months and I even started dreaming of a potential business offering rejuvenating naps for all employees at a discounted rate. Imagine how much more efficient and pro-active your staff will be taking 15 min power naps.
Coming back to reality, dreaming or taking power naps was not the answer. I stumbled across a book declaring ” I will heal your symptoms and boost your energy”. Hmmm, another hype, short lived magic solution? My optimistic side agreed, a solution! Ignoring the valid cries of my pessimistic side, I grabbed the book, paid and made a run for it. This single action took me to where I am today. DETOXING would prove to be the one thing that would totally restore and rejuvenate my energy.
I believe now that even though we may have the motivation and determination to achieve our goals and dreams, we need our health, energy and vitality to pursue them. DETOXING opened me up to a world of getting up and taking action. I now have the energy to pursue my dreams, the health to enjoy my results and the knowledge that I am bearer of my fruits, as long as I nourish and replenish my body with respect and love, I can continue to enjoy what life throws at me.
What experiences have you had trying out different DETOX regimes?
What worked for you and what didn’t?
I went through a really bad stage where I ate whatever I wanted. I started noticing I took longer to wake up in the morning and got really tired during the afternoon. I was suffering from mood swings and irritability. I tried a detox from a book and really enjoyed it but I did find it very hard to stick to it and keep my willpower in power. So I did it in the end, not to the full extent but I def noticed vast improvements in my energy levels and could at least wake up in the morning without relying on my alarm clock. I would like to try again but this time really be strict and see how different my results might be.
Hi Detox Coach
I think you are doing a great job! I own Body Brilliant Wellness & Detox Lounge on the Gold Coast in Australia and have the same passion of helping people detox their life and regain the health and vitality they deserve.
So many people dont realise the power of cleansing the body, using juices, specific nutrition and especially colon hydrotherapy which is one of the main services we offer in our centre.
If your colon isnt clean, it doesn’t matter how great the foods are that you put into your body. If your body cant remove the waste then it recirculates back into the body, effecting the kidneys, liver and other detoxing organs.
For anyone questioning doing a cleanse – just do it. It will be the best health decision you have ever made.

DetoxCoach,
This is a great blog, and a great way to get people on the path to getting healthy again.
I have/had a number of health issues, including Lyme Disease, liver function abnormalities, mycoplasma bacterial infection, etc. I have found that nothing works to get me healthy like detox does, especially colon cleansing, diet changing and metal detoxing. It inspired me to create a whole site on the process, which you can see below my name.
Thanks a lot.

I’ve been on the lemon detox for 24 days now. I am planning on 30. I love it. My skin looks great and I cant stand the smell of junk food anymore. I am doing this to reboot my whole eating habits. This should be used as a start to healthy nutrition, not a diet. Yeah you lose alot of weight but if you go back to a poor diet and no exersise you are just going to put it all back on. I have used the detox to cleanse so I can start a whole new chapter. Healthy lifestyle!
Thanks for sharing! I’m a beginner and I need a positive outlook. I’m not sure of how to begin and what to expect. Did you go through mood swings?
the first 2 days were torture[headaches, felt awful]. on the 3rd day i woke up and felt pretty good. its easy to stick to once you get going because you really do notice changes[ more so if you've always had a poor diet, like me!] my skin looks better and i feel great. i havent taken any painkillers for a month[lived on codine, one of the reasons i did a detox] didnt have any mood swings. i suggest if you have alot of caffine usually to stop it one week before you start your detox. you dont need to have caffine withdrawal when you start! that would make things harder. i have to say i think i did it a little to long. stopped 2 days ago, have nooo appetite and am craaavvving my lemon drink!! lol. make sure you reserch on the net. you have to be careful when you stop[ cant eat straight away] you also have to do internal flushes. google like crazy!! good luck
motleyhealth.com has an excellent artice
